Bow Drill MAKING Workshop

Price : $15 pp

This workshop does not occur at the same time as drum making, so yes you can do both!

The incredible Fern, Miranda & Kyle from EarthKin Learning are joining us this year to offer a bow drill making workshop. This is an ancestral skill that empowers you to create fire from friction! The extra cost is to cover the cost of gathering materials for you to have this experience and take the bow drill home with you.

YOUR GUIDE: Fern Yip. From her wild journeys, Fern knows that deep nature connection is essential to living both soulfully and meaningfully on this earth. She finds immense joy in encouraging others to find their own naturalist passions and meaningful relationships to the earth by awakening curiosity, exploration, and play. She brings a naturalist’s keen awareness, a dedication to the practice of ancestral and bushcraft skills, and over ten years of experience instructing at nature schools and ancestral skills gatherings.  Fern enjoys many earth-based ancestral skills but has a particular love for tanning hides, tracking, hunting, and foraging for edible and medicinal plants. Compelled by the vision of creating nature connected culture, Fern is honored to guide others on their deep nature connection journeys.
